Cottage Cheese Flatbread">Cottage cheese garlic knots are soft, pillowy, buttery knots of bread infused with garlic and parsley, each one delivering 10g of protein thanks to the cottage cheese-enriched dough. These irresistible rolls are the perfect side dish for pasta night, soup, or any meal that deserves a basket of warm, garlicky bread. The cottage cheese creates a dough that's incredibly easy to work with and bakes up beautifully — soft and chewy on the inside with a golden, garlic-butter-brushed exterior. Unlike traditional garlic knots from your local pizza shop, these are packed with protein and made with wholesome ingredients. The process is simple: make a quick dough, roll into ropes, tie into knots, bake, and toss in garlic butter. The result is restaurant-quality garlic knots that are ready in about 45 minutes including rising time. These cottage cheese garlic knots are always a hit at gatherings, game day parties, or family dinners. Make a double batch because they disappear fast. They're also great for meal prep — bake, cool, and freeze. Reheat in the oven for 5 minutes and they taste freshly baked. This is one of those cottage cheese recipes that proves cottage cheese can do so much more than breakfast. All nutrition data is verified using USDA FoodData Central for accuracy.

TROUBLESHOOTING
My cottage cheese recipes are too dry
Try adding 1-2 tablespoons more liquid (milk, yogurt, or egg whites). Also ensure you're not over-measuring the protein powder - use the scoop and level method.
They didn't rise properly
Check your baking powder is fresh (test by adding to hot water - it should bubble vigorously). Also, don't overmix the batter as this can deflate the air bubbles.
The texture is rubbery
This usually means too much protein powder or overbaking. Reduce baking time by 2-3 minutes and check doneness with a toothpick.
